Ivan Peter Pawle, one of the founder members of
Dr Strangely Strange
Ivan also informed me that this will be his first solo set so I'm really looking forward that!
Spoiler alert.. there will be other surprises on the night! Hear Dr Strangely Strange's music on Youtube

I am extremely grateful to The Carnegie Arts Centre for this opportunity. Having been to a number of events in the venue since I moved to the area just over a year ago now I'm very excited to get a chance to perform my "Projections" show there, show no. 5 in 7 years & 5 years since I staged the last one!
I'm both excited and terrified at the same time but at this stage of my life (ye olde pun.. badum tish!) I'm enjoying ever moment I can catch myself to be in the moment!
It's been a long and windy road, as the song says, 39 years since I first stood on a stage with a guitar and 17 years since I finally got up enough courage to sing in public so to say this is a big one for me would be putting it mildly but having said that I'm pretty chilled about the whole thing right now, getting what needs to be done done without putting myself under too much pressure.. pressure's for tyres!
This is shaping up to be a very interesting night indeed so be there or be Square! ;D

On Wednesday 11th May I filmed and recorded a few songs in The Carnegie Theatre to refamiliarise myself with performing on a stage with a PA etc. and also to get a recording of one of the new songs I wrote in my new home. This is the video of "The Sun Still Shines".
Thanks to The Carnegie for giving me the time in there, Chris Thomas for sound and lights, El Bruno for recording and Kamil Zabłocki for photography.
Thanks also to Kerry County Council for their funding. Funded by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media's Local Live Performance Programming Scheme with support from Kerry County Council
